Compress Videos is built to be local-first. Your videos never leave your device, and compression happens entirely in your browser.
When you select a video, the file is processed locally using the WebCodecs API. We do not upload, store, or transmit your video files to our servers.
We may collect minimal, aggregated usage analytics to understand performance and feature usage (for example, page views and basic events like compression successful, without any data of your video, or compression failed). This data does not include your video content.
Compressed files are created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device. We do not retain your videos or compression outputs.
